A Hestia Tradition
Some things are worth waiting for.
Granny Smith first appeared on a Hestia afternoon tea menu in October 2021. Apple crumble and custard - familiar, comforting and unmistakably British - reimagined as a bright green apple entremet.
Five autumns later, she still returns every October. The recipe has been refined along the way, but the Granny Smith our customers remember is still very much herself.
For some, her return has become a little marker in the year. For us, she's a reminder of where Hestia began, how far we've come and the customers who have grown alongside us.

Hestia Patisserie began in 2021, but her foundations were laid long before then.
After years spent working in professional kitchens, Rebecca created Hestia to make pâtisserie on her own terms - with creativity, craftsmanship and care at the heart of everything that leaves the kitchen.
Today, every Hestia product is still made by Rebecca from her home kitchen in Norfolk. Flavours are developed thoughtfully, menus move with the seasons and everything is made with the same intention: to create something that feels every bit as special as the reason you've chosen it.
