Persian Love Cakes
Once upon a time in a land called Persia, lived a woman who was in love with the Prince. He did not reciprocate her love which caused her great distress. She concocted a love potion, baked it into a cake and gifted this to His Majesty. He ate every last crumb, fell madly and deeply in love with her and they lived happily ever after.
We don’t put any magic potions in our Hestia Patisserie Persian Love Cakes but their delicious and unique flavour will definitely bewitch you!
A dense sponge cake with a ‘cheesecake like’ base offering a texture contrast to every bite. Made with almonds, greek yoghurt, nutmeg, cardamom and rosewater icing, this beautiful cake will delight your tastebuds!
A traditional Persian Love Cake is decorated with rose petals and toasted pitachios but extra or alternative decoration, such as different coloured dried flowers, can be included for additional cost.
Individual cakes must be ordered in batches of 16 but are just as good after being frozen if you can’t eat them all in one go!
