Inside a Hestia cake.
A Hestia celebration cake is about much more than sponge and buttercream.
Each flavour is built in the same way I approach pâtisserie - with layers chosen to bring contrast, texture and balance. Depending on the cake, you might find sharp fruit confits, silky crémeux, citrus curds, whipped ganaches, custards, caramels or something with a little crunch hidden between the layers.
The outside is deliberately simple. The good stuff is inside.
Every cake is finished in Hestia's recognisable style, leaving the flavour - rather than elaborate decoration - to do most of the talking.

Every cake follows the Hestia style, with three things for you to decide:
01 - Choose your size

From a 4" cake for a smaller celebration to a 10" cake for a rather fuller table.
02 - Choose your finish
↓
Choose between a Semi-Naked finish, with the layers of sponge just visible beneath the buttercream, or a Full finish for a completely covered cake.
03 - Choose your flavour
↓
Pick from the Standard or Premium Hestia flavour collection. Whichever you choose, you'll still get the layered fillings and pâtisserie-led flavours that make it a Hestia cake.

Semi-Naked (pictured)
A lighter covering of buttercream, allowing glimpses of the sponge beneath for Hestia's more relaxed, softly finished look.
Full
A complete covering of buttercream for a smoother, more polished finish.
Whichever you choose, your cake will be finished in Hestia's signature style — simple, seasonal and designed to let the cake itself do the talking.
A few useful things before you order.
Every Hestia celebration cake is made to order from my kitchen in Wymondham, Norfolk.
A little notice, please.
Please allow at least two weeks' notice wherever possible. It's always worth asking about a shorter-notice order, but availability can't be guaranteed.
Collection or delivery.
Cakes can be collected from Hestia in Wymondham, with a collection window arranged in advance. Delivery across Norfolk and North Suffolk may also be available and is quoted individually.
Allergies & dietary requirements.
Please tell me about any allergies, coeliac disease or dietary requirements when enquiring so I can let you know whether your chosen cake is suitable or can be adapted.
